My experience studying the Master of Science in Data Analytics and Business Economics programme (MScDABE) has been both exciting and challenging. The programme develops data-driven strategies by focuses on leveraging data and business analytics knowledge. I have gained new knowledges in quantitative skills and programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, and Tableau through this programme. These skills are used extensively in data analysis and visualization. In the first semester, the programme offers Foundations in Big Data Analytics and Statistics for Data Science to let us build our foundation and basic. During the second semester, the programme offers elective courses that allow us to delve into real-world data analytics problems. Additionally, MScDABE provided us the valuable opportunity to learn from exceptional guest speakers who generously share their valuable experiences in the real world of data during the Executive Workshop Series. I believe the skills that gained through the MScDABE are applicable across industries and sectors, offering a diverse range of career paths. I highly recommend the MScDABE programme to those who are interested in big data and data analytics.
