If you are in your final year of study, you may submit applications before obtaining a confirmation of graduation. Successful applicants will be given a “Conditional/Provisional Admission Offer”.
Yes, you can. Over the years, we had students with working experience.
We will declare the start date and deadline for each year’s application through webpages.
Yes. Once we received a full admission package, we will begin to review it. That’s why we encourage prospective students to apply as soon as possible. Once the admitted number of students is met, the admission process would stop even before deadline.
We expect our applicants have foundational knowledge of statistics. These knowledge is helpful for the study in this programme.

Generally, a student can complete the full-time programme in 1 year and part-time programme in 2 years.
Admitted students can apply for the dormitories on campus. However, due to limited supply, most students might not be able to live on campus. For more information, please contact the Office of Student Affairs.
“Bridging Courses” are designed to help students to get used to the academic environment and prepare for the first semester course work. These courses mainly cover basic mathematics, statistics, programming knowledge and economic theories. They are free of charge and there are no exams. The Orientation Day provides key information of the programme that should be noted by students and career-related matters.
Persons who have obtained a qualification in a full-time and locally accredited programme in Hong Kong may apply to work in Hong Kong under the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG). For detailed information, please refer to the Immigration Department, HKSAR.
