Future business leaders shall be data literate. The exponential increase in big data and the rapid advances in computing power have ushered in the age of Artificial Intelligence. In a landscape more and more dominated by automated predictions and decision-making, knowing why a pattern exists and how your tools work enables you to lead and supervise automated tools, rather than being supervised by them. Data and AI are powerful. Still strategy and critical understanding remain important. With the global smart city blueprints accelerating, organizations across sectors require leaders who can bridge the gap between technical output and decision-making.
The Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance brings together a diverse faculty with expertise spanning behavioral economics, business strategy, and data analytics. This interdisciplinary exposure blends technical rigor with business acumen, equipping you to excel in novel roles in, for example, data consultancy, ESG & sustainability analysis, business intelligence, and policy advisory.
Our curriculum is offered as a 1-year full-time or 2-year part-time programme. Besides essential skills such as consumer modeling, financial risk measurement, and data governance, you will also learn to navigate the global geoeconomics landscape as well as formulate sustainability strategies. We teach far more than running algorithms. You will graduate ready to command AI tools, evaluate risk, and drive sustainable growth.
