My professional journey has taught me the importance of staying curious, exploring different paths and continuously learning. I’m grateful to HKBU for giving me the foundation, opportunities and confidence to explore different interests and discover what I enjoy doing. The experiences and opportunities I had during my time at HKBU continue to shape the way I approach my career today. In my current role as a Research Analyst at Infiny Realty, I work across data analysis, research and business problem-solving, while also exploring how AI and emerging technologies can improve the way we work. One of the things I value most is being able to connect insights with people. Understanding a business problem is only the beginning – being able to communicate findings clearly, collaborate with stakeholders and turn analysis into practical solutions is equally important. My biggest lesson so far is that your career does not always have to follow one fixed path. Your 20s are a time to explore, try new things, make mistakes, relearn and discover what genuinely interests you. I encourage current students to take advantage of every opportunity they can, even when it doesn't seem directly connected to their future career. You never know where an experience, a new skill or a conversation might lead. Not every opportunity will work out, and that's okay. Every experience can teach you something and help you understand yourself a little better. So don't be afraid to change direction, explore beyond what you already know and keep learning. Most importantly, don’t give up and don’t lose sight of what makes you happy. Build a career that allows you to stay curious, keep growing and do work that genuinely excites you. I’m still figuring out my own path, but I’ve learned that you don't need to have everything figured out at the beginning – you just need to be willing to explore.
